Magpie is a Chrome Extension that allows users to save images and links they find online directly to their Google Drive account. We are committed to respecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle any data.

1. Information We Access

When you use Magpie, we request access to your Google account through OAuth in order to:
(a) Authenticate you securely using your Google account.
(b) Save content to your Google Drive, including personal drives, shared drives, or organizational drives—based on your selection.
We only use the minimum permissions necessary to perform these actions. Magpie does not access, read, or modify any other files in your Google Drive beyond what you explicitly save via the extension.

2. Data Collection and Use

(a) We do not collect or store any personal information such as your name, email address, or files.
(b) We do not store any data on our own servers. All actions are performed directly via your Google Drive account with your consent.
(c) We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics (such as number of active users or general usage patterns) to help us improve the extension. No personally identifiable information is collected.

3. Third-Party Services

(a) Google APIs are used solely for OAuth authentication and storing content to your Drive.
(b) Google Analytics is used for anonymous usage insights.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share any personal data with third parties. As we do not collect any personal data, there is nothing to share.

5. User Control

At any time, you can revoke Magpie's access to your Google account by visiting your Google Account Permissions. This will stop the extension from saving new content to your Drive.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via the extension or on our homepage. Continued use of Magpie after changes means you accept the new policy.
